Octopus DevOps at DevOpsDays Buenos Aires 2026
A retrospective on our international step forward and the autonomous DevOps conversation we brought to Argentina.

On April 10, 2026, Octopus DevOps joined DevOpsDays Buenos Aires with the talk “Octopus: Autonomous DevOps, frictionless and code-free,” presented by Joseph López, CTO of Octopus DevOps.
The conversation started from a reality many teams know well: implementing DevOps often requires multiple tools, specialized infrastructure, pipeline construction and maintenance, continuous support and highly specialized engineers. When these pieces are managed separately, complexity and costs grow quickly.
That experience became the starting point for Octopus DevOps. We set out to integrate project understanding, task construction, sequencing and execution into one platform, allowing teams to adopt DevOps and DevSecOps without turning platform operations into another project.

Buenos Aires was also an opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues from across Latin America, meet new people and test our vision against the community's real experiences.
Presenting Octopus in Argentina marked an important step in our international expansion. Beyond showcasing a product, we opened conversations about a more accessible, autonomous and sustainable way to deliver software.
We returned with new connections, valuable lessons and the conviction that the challenges behind Octopus are shared by organizations throughout the region.
